Majority Leader and member representing Sapele Constituency in Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Monday Igbuya, has said arrangements were underway for a mass protest against Sapele Power Plc, if the power station did not improve on its services.

Chief Igbuya told Vanguard in Sapele, Sapele yesterday, that the incessant power outages which had been the order of the day in Sapele and environs had caused the area much economic fortune as industrialists, particularly, saw mill operators and other artisans in the area had ceased to do business because of the situation.

He said the cost of fuel had risen prohibitively, making the costs of running private generating sets uneconomical to business operators.
