WORK HOURS: Full-time; 48 hours/week

SALARY: OR-Ordinarily Resident: N 3,007,487 per annum (Starting basic Salary)

Position Grade: FSN-07

In addition to the basic salary, all allowances will be paid in accordance with the U.S. Mission Local Compensation Plan (LCP).

NOR-Not Ordinarily Resident: AEFM – US$39,994

EFM/MOH – US$34,324 (Starting Salary) per annum.

Position Grade: FP-07

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE POSITION:

The incumbent is responsible for preventive maintenance, repair, installation modification, trouble-shooting, overhaul, testing, adjustment and calibration of various diesel generators, automatic transfer switches, fuel tanks, batteries and chargers, transformers and associated mechanical electrical systems.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. Completion of Secondary School is required.

2. Minimum of four years experience in generator trouble-shooting, repair and installation is required.

3. Level III (Good working knowledge) written and oral English is required.

4. Knowledge of diesel engines, alternators, electrical system, and complete preventive

maintenance procedures is required.

5. Ability to use tools and equipment to perform installations and repairs is required.
