Job Description:

Contribute to the maintenance of the health and safety of self, other workers and members of the public          

Contribute to the implementaton and practice of security and company confidentially.          

"Prepare and edit (format, proofread, style-check) engineering documentation such as:- • Basis of Design • Scopes of Work • Technical Papers • PowerPoint Presentations • Flowcharts • Reports • Site Visit • Technical Studies • Design Report • Flow Assurance Reports etc."          

Carry out consistency checks on documents and ensure that content is correct and alligns with other discipline input where applicable          

Control document versions and manage document distribution and updates          

Use and help others use programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio and Sharepoint and answer grammar and formatting questions.          

Support the control of documents per established procedures (i.e. request document numbers, work in Sharepoint) and using the formal naming conventions and file sructures.          

Participate in the development and sustainability of document management processes.            

Support the development and management of new document formats and templates e.g. manage changes of document formats and ensure the implementation of best practices.          

Scribe during work sessions and update documents on screen in real time during 'live edit' document meetings e.g. procedure reviews.          

Create binders, tabs, CDs and labels, work with printing company (A&E or FedEx Office) to produce and ship multiple copies / binders and work with offshore team to ensure proper distribution.          

"Role may be expanded to cover:- • Operation and Maintenance Manuals • Standard Operating Procedures"          

Job Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Business and Social sciences or related field.

• Working knowledge of computer softwares with good or excellent typing speed

• Proficiency in personal computer applications and systems which should include microsoft office computer softwares.

• Excellent technical writing skills and ability to peer review technical documents for grammer, contents and style of writing

• Accuracy, Precision of work product and Attention to detail                                                                                                                                                                                               • Strong ability to work with and analtse numbers

• Excellent interpersonal skills to provide quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

• Ability to interact with different level of personnel.

• Able to accept constructive criticism.

• Exceptional follow up skills and detailed oriented.

• Strong organisational and time management skills.

• Broad working knowledge of departments operations and objectives.

• Must be familiar with Upstream Oil and Gas terminology
