There is an exciting opportunity to potentially be involved with one of the world's largest offshore projects as Interface Manager.  The engineering team will be based in Nigeria on a rotational assignment for upto 24 months, with accommodation provided.  The successful candidate will have previous overseas and lumpsum experience as well as experience in Engineering design of offshore, topsides and/or FPSO projects.      

See below for a break down of the key responsibilities required for this role:

Management of all interfaces between all areas of the project. Key deliverables to include:

•   Create and maintain an interface database using interface management software.

•   Manage the interfaces between all groups on the project

•   Develop and deliver a programme that ensures all appointed contractors use the Interface Management processes and tools

•   Own and resolve any interface management conflicts

•   Responsible for day-to-day engineering issues and would be expected to liaise across Engineering disciplines and work with the Project Services team to deliver on time and within budget.

•   To coordinate with the client and completion teams

•   Control, monitor and progress the design deliverables to an agreed project schedule

•   Apply good interpersonal skills, liaising across the organisation with members of other disciplines and departments

•   Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems

•   Safety – Responsible for personal safety and working within the OHS&W procedures

•   Responsible for ensuring the deliverables for the project are produced on schedule and meet Quality standards expected

Job Requirements:

•   Overseas experience

•   Lump sum experience

•   Experience of engineering design projects including topsides, offshore and/or FPSOs.

•   Degree or equivalent level qualification

•   Excellent IT skills critically in spreadsheet and database management

•   Excellent communication and Presentation Skills

•   Experience working in the Oil and Gas industry

•   Experience in Interface Management

•   Experience working in an Integrated Project Management Team

•   Proven experience as a Senior PE/Interface Manager on a major Project .
