SUMMARY OF DUTIES:

•   Set safety, health and environment objectives for the site and implement programmes to achieve them

•   Maintain and update the company's safety, health and environment rules and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and global best practices

•   Collaborate with line managers in analyzing hazards and coordination of incident investigation in other to identify and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence

•   Collaborate with host communities to evaluate and monitor the impact of the company's operations on the environment

•   Manage the company's relationship with relevant regulatory bodies

REQUIREMENTS:

•    Must have a can-do attitude

•   Must be honest

•   Able to work under pressure on tight schedules

•   Able to multi-task

•   Must have good auditing and report writing skills

•   First degree and/or equivalent

•   Relevant professional certifications will be an advantage

•   At least five years of practical experience as SHE Manager
