Company Profile: An independent International Oil and Gas Company operating in West Africa.

Job description:

•   Day to day production surveillance

•   Monitor well performance through daily data acquisition.

•   Contribute to production forecasts and shortfall analyses.

•   Process / Production Optimization

•   Responsible for the definition of the well testing program, validation of well test results and audit of well testing practices.

•   Chemical Optimization in crude oil, water injection and produced water treatment lines.

•   Apply reservoir engineering applications (nodal analysis, material balance, etc.) to evaluate well and reservoir performance.

•   Artificial Lift Optimization

•   Continuously propose ESP and well operating parameter modifications for optimum productivity.

•   Perform troubleshooting in case of poor well performances or ESP failure. Design program for gas lift start up and for monitoring continuous gas lift operation

•   Develop program to assist lazy well with gas lift

•   Water Injection Surveillance and Optimization

•   Work with Subsurface Team to monitor injection performance and implement recommended voidage replacement ratios.

•   Production Accounting

•   Responsible for production allocation and hydrocarbon accounting/reconciliation.

•   OFM database management

•   Back-up support for field operations

Requirements:

•   A Bachelor's degree in Petroleum, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering from a reputable higher institution, At least second class upper graduating grade

•   Master's degree would be an added advantage

•   7 – 10 years oil and gas industry experience in productions operations especially in production optimization, well performance, pumps and corrosion control.

•   Excellent analytical and reporting skills.

•   Good interpersonal and communication skills.

•   Ability to work under pressure and in a diversified work environment.

•   Autonomous, pro-active and flexible person.
