The Job –   To ensure the availability, reliability and safe operation of power generators and their auxiliary equipment following procedures, specifications and within an approved budget –  Allocate and monitor staff to effect repairs, maintenance, overhaul of installed generators and other auxiliary equipment for  efficiency and effectiveness of operations –   To assist in the design and execution of relevant projects within given specifications and budget within an approved time schedule –   Advise on the availability of spare parts in order to reduce downtime

The person –  Ability to communicate clearly (oral and written) –  Ability to coach subordinates –  Ability to work under pressure and in confined spaces –  Knowledge of Engineering codes and standards –  basic knowledge of AUTOCAD

Qualification: B.Eng. /HND/FTC/FTD  Electrical Engineering

Experience: 5 years of relevant experience
