Dana plane crash unfortunate –Gov Wada

The Kogi State Governor, Captain Idris Wada, has described as unfortunate yesterday's air crash involving a Dana airliner with about 157 passengers on board.  According to the governor, the crash was  a major loss to the country, adding that it is another  sad day in the history of Nigeria.

A statement signed by the Special Adviser to the governor on Media and Strategy, Jacob Edi,  said although details of the crash remained sketchy at the time of the statement, the state government also sympathised with the families of the victims of the crash and prayed to Almighty Allah to forestall any future occurrence.
