Responsibilities:

"• Monitoring daily production and injection performance.

• Develop and execute effective wells and reservoir surveillance programs.

• Ensure effective production data management in conjunction with the Operations department.

• Identify, evaluate and recommend well interventions to optimize injection placement and withdrawals.

• Carry out detailed design of Artificial Lift (AL) systems, particularly of Gas-lifted wells and optimize their performance.

• Liaise with Artificial Lift technical specialists to identify or suggest AL system and AL data base improvements.

• Support Production Programmers in Gas-lift string design and Gas-lift well analysis.

• Actively participate in the Regional Expert Network for Gas-lift, Stimulation, Perforation, etc, to share knowledge and improve PT related processes.

• Ensure conduit models are up to date; ensure IPSM field models are up to date

• Identify, evaluate and recommend remedial well work to improve inflow performance through stimulation, additional and/or improved perforations.

• Identify, evaluate and recommend facility options to minimize system bottlenecks and work with the Operations group to achieve target improvements.

• Identify and run necessary cased hole logs to ensure well integrity meets minimum standards.

• Coach and mentor less experienced staff in line with their staff development plans.

• Work closely with operations, engineering, well engineering, well services and other Service Providers and Contractors to optimize production from existing assets (reservoir, wells and surface facilities)

• Work with the Operations team to reduce water and gas handling costs, justify flow line and common line repairs, manage water disposal.

• Support deployment of technology (eg. CO2 tracer ) and processes (Eg. CWE) to improve well & reservoir performance in water flooded fields

• Train, coach and support younger PTs"

Requirements:

a. Experienced Production Technologist as applied to E&P and also familiar with fundamentals of well design, diagnosis and optimization as well as Petroleum Engineering

b. Good understanding of the operation and constraints of the surface facilities as well as the reservoir description and fluid flow in the reservoir to allow the provisioning of optimum Reservoir and Well surveillance Plans and system reviews.

c. Should possess insight and knowledge for optimising the entire production system through workovers, short-term oil and production enhancement effort and system debottlenecking to ensure the maximisation field potential

d. Solid understanding of fluid mechanics, e.g. inflow performance, multiphase flow in wells; Knowledge of Production Chemistry, e.g. related to stimulation, corrosion; Experience designing completions, artificial lift, sand exclusion.
