Job Duties/ Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

1. Foster cohesiveness and a seamless integration of the processes within the SCM group to ensure services are delivered to customers on time, within budget, in full compliance with company HSE guidelines and in an ethical and transparent manner.

2. Monitor agreed SCM Key Performance Indicators and encourage timely implementation of corrective actions on identified deviations from set goals.

3. Provide Effective Leadership to the SCM & Nigerian Content Department, taking responsibility for ensuring staff development needs are met and necessary attention is paid to coaching, mentoring, career management, training and personal development of departmental staff.

4. Provide necessary support to departmental heads in the preparation of realistic annual budgets consistent with the agreed annual Technical Work Program and monitor group  costs working with departmental heads to identify cost saving opportunities through improved planning and process refinements.

Key Performance Indicators/ Performance Goals:

•   Achieve zero Lost Time Incidents in all SCM departments, or improve on previous year's record by at least 50%.

•   Zero rig downtime, and zero production deferment attributable to SCM role.

•   Keep within approved operating budget; with overspend not exceeding a maximum of 10%.    

Education Qualification:

•   University Honours Degree or equivalent.

•   A gradate level degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management is desirable.

Professional Qualification: Chartered member Nigerian Institute of Purchasing & Supply  

Experience:

•   15+ years relevant work experience at least 8-10 of which should have been at management level in onshore/offshore E&P environment.

•   Previous experience in the West Africa sub region will be an advantage.

•   Experience in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or Procurement preferable.
