KEY DELIVERABLES / KEY DIMENSIONS

•   Field wide seismic and structural interpretations to support field development plans and field reviews.

•   Selection of well targets and developing drilling plans.

•   Integration of subsurface data including logs, cores and seismic.

•   Input for Resource and Reserves estimation.

•   Experience of working in multidisciplinary technical team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•   Conduct subsurface geophysical mapping and interpretation studies using well data and seismic datasets to characterize the full range of subsurface uncertainties.

•   Assist with the completion of structural mapping, reservoir mapping, facies mapping, reservoir connectivity, volumetric assessments and 3D geological model construction.

•   Assist with structural reconstruction, reservoir mapping, connectivity and field characterization studies.

•   Champion seismic acquisition, depth conversion and reprocessing efforts (e.g. velocity model construction, time-depth conversion etc.)

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS:

10 to 15 years in upstream oil and gas industry with experience from the following areas:

•   Familiarity with Geophysical workstation mapping techniques

•   Practical experience with 3D and 2D seismic reprocessing projects

•   Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams

•   Experience in operated and non-operated deepwater projects is preferred

•   Experience in seismic quantitative interpretations

EXPERIENCE:

•   B.S.  in Geoscience  Degree minimum

•   Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Production Seismology  

•   Previous experience in West Africa will be an advantage

•   Fluent command of the English language is mandatory
