These 4 Nigerian Senators show up at the pearly gates. St. Peter has never heard of any Nigerian Senator even getting close to heaven so he goes and asks the Lord: "Jesus, there are 4 Nigerian Senators at the pearly gates. Are they supposed to be here?" Jesus says:" Well, that's highly unusual, but there's a first time for everything. Go and get their names so we can see if they're in the Book of Life."
So Peter does as He says. A couple of minutes St. Peter comes running back, out of breath. "Jesus, Jesus. They're gone!" "Who? The Nigerian Senators?", Jesus asks. Peter nods. "Not only them, but the pearly gates!"
