Ailing journalist seeks assistance

AT the peak of her career as a journalist, Mrs Adaeze Ojukwu has been diagnosed of kidney cancer.



Her greatest wish is to get better and be back to her job again.

But, she has been incapacitated by her inability to pass out urine easily, a condition that has subjected her to the rigour of regular dialysis.

She said her ordeal started in June when she put in for the Masters degree at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN).

She had left for Nsukka, after taking a study leave from Champion, where she is the Deputy Nditor (News) but never realised that her dream would be thwarted.
