MTN Nigeria is currently recruiting for the following position:

Job Title: RF Optimization Team Lead (Abuja, Kano)
Department: Network Group
Location:  Abuja

Job Description:    
•Network Capacity and coverage enhancement functions within the region which will be measured by:
- Capacity - Ensuring that at any time the network will be able to accommodate the subscriber level anticipated 3 months ahead
- Coverage – Enhancement and coverage optimization with TMA, MHA and indoor repeaters.
- Technology integration – Ensuring that multiservice sites (2G, 3G, etc) are properly designed and integrated with minimal complexity and good Inter Radio Access Technology performance.
•Maintain accurate and thorough Knowledge of  the network
•Monitor and report all competitor activities•
•The clutter data and propagation models (Planning Tool:Asset) will be checked at regular intervals to ensure that they offer a true reflection of the propagation environment•

Job Conditions:
•   General MTN N working conditions.
•   National traveling into various remote areas within the specified region.
•   Additional working time is maybe required.
•   A valid driver’s license.

Reporting To:   Regional RF Optimization Manager

Required Skills:   
•At least 4 years work experience comprising:
•Three (3) years RF experience with a GSM or Wireless Telecomm operator 
• At least one (1) year in a team leadership role within the same sector
•Experience of working on a multi-vendor network
•Experience with Ericsson and Huawei equipment will be desirable

Employment Status:  Permanent
Qualification:  B.Sc Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering
