Eligibility:

-A PhD degree in epidemiology (or equivalent) obtained within five years before the appointment is mandatory.

-Candidates should have strong English writing and verbal skills and ample experience with publishing English research articles.

-Candidates with inter- and transdisciplinary attitude, and creative ability are preferred.

-The candidate must be under 45 years of age.

Scholarship Description: A post-doctoral position is available in the area of epidemiology at the Africa Unit for Transdisciplinary Health Research (AUTHeR), North-West University (Potchefstroom Campus), South Africa. We need an experienced post-doctoral fellow to take charge of some of the research data gathered through the PURE-SA (Prospective Urban Rural Epidemiology – South Africa) study.
