Job Title: Internet Marketing Analyst

Location: Enugu

Department: Information System Management.

Reports to: Information System Manager

Organisation: Famzy Nigeria Limited

We are currently seeking an Internet Marketing Analyst to examine e-commerce data, assist in the overall strategic position, and to make recommendations to monitor, evaluate, and optimize our on-line marketing efforts. This position will be the forefront in the analysis of all website and online marketing activities/programs including: data collection, developing tools and techniques for performance tracking and measurement, reporting of key performance indicators, providing quantifiable recommendations for site and marketing campaign optimization, and ad-hoc analysis as needed. Data-driven insights and quantifiable business improvements are keys to success in this role. As the Internet Marketing Analyst you will be responsible:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•   To work alongside the ISM department to create an integrated marketing program utilizing today’s new tools including PPC, SEO, YouTube, Facebook, Blogs, and other forms of social media with all the pieces working together.

•   To manage website SEO including landing pages, content, email marketing, newsletters, blogs, etc..

•   In generating reports from external and internal data sources, creating actionable trend information, and ensuring that internal team members have the information necessary to make informed business, marketing, and merchandising decisions.

•   To conduct keyword discovery and generation using online tools, competitive research and analysis for keyword expansion and campaigns

•   To Conceptualize revolutionary marketing campaigns that are clutter-free and simple yet extremely emotionally powerful

•   To generate more leads with the online marketing programs than others in the company can keep up with.

•   To Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly reports that analyze e-campaign results, site traffic, conversion rates, costs, revenue and pertinent efficiencies

•   For the successful implementation and growth of a set of online advertising campaigns

•   In handling all tracking and reporting on web analytics, email marketing, display advertising, search, affiliate, social and other consumer marketing functions.

•   In managing implementation, maintenance and improvement of web analytics system (Google Analytics, etc)

•   In setting up/maintaining dashboards for key performance indicators.

•   In working with web development team to ensure that all sites and functions are tagged and tracked correctly and align with overall department goals/strategy.

•   In creating and distributing regularly scheduled web reports including monthly traffic and program metrics to internal and external teams.

•   In proactively identifying opportunities to improve site effectiveness.

•   In supporting team and organization with various tasks as required.

•   In analyzing and reporting e-commerce activities from competitors to discover growth opportunities.

•   In performing search engine research to optimize the company’s product in the marketplace.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

•   Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university in related field;

•   Valid driver’s license

•   Minimum three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

•   Experience with SEO keyword research and development

•   Proficiency in SEO reporting, analytical tools and social media marketing

•   Ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations

•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•   Knowledge of or experience in the analysis of large data sets to find useful relationships (data mining)

•   Creative ability to develop innovative courses of action based on data analysis

•   Experience with Google Analytics or other equivalent analytics program will be an added advantage

•   Prior online marketing experience with an online or services company will be an advantage

•   Strong background in business intelligence, analytics, and e-commerce

•   Excellent understanding of website analytics, metrics, etc

•   Enthusiasm, direction, self-motivation, result oriented and a strong work ethic

•   Experience with HTML and general website infrastructure and mechanics

•   Exposure to financial forecasting and strong overall quantitative acumen

•   Advanced skills in Excel including the ability to use formulas, functions, and pivot tables, PowerPoint, and Word

•   Relational database experience SQL, Access, etc. is a plus

LANGUAGE SKILLS

•   Ability to read, analyze and interpret various reports, and documents.

•   Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries from co-workers and management.

•   Must have the ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Must have the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Needs to be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

•   Ability to define problems and collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

•   The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables is desirable.
