ABEOKUTA—Following the looming clash between Islamic and Oro cult groups in Remo area of  Ogun State, the state government has ordered the deployment of policemen in the  area to enforce peace.

The  government also  ordered the Oro cult group  to limit the observance of its  scheduled festivals and rites to its  immediate communities.

Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Muyiwa Oladipo, said this after an emergency peace meeting in Abeokuta with leaders of the two groups, warning them against flouting the order.
