Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) takes off in Nigeria

THE inauguration of the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) in Nigeria has been hailed as a step in the right direction, even as Mr. Sunday Olawuwo, an organist and master of music of the Archbishop Vinning Memorial Church, Cathedral (AVMCC) Lagos emerged as country's representative.

A statement signed and made available to The Nation by the chairman, publication and publicity committee of AVMCC, Prince Henry Odukomaiya, explained that the royal school was an organisation known throughout the world for promoting church music and providing musical resources.
