Reaching the end of a job interview, the Human Resources Person asked a young engineer who was fresh out of school; "What starting salary were you thinking about?" The Engineer said: "In the neighbourhood of $30 million a year, depending on the benefit package."

The Interviewer asked, "Well, what would you say to a package of five weeks vacation, 14 paid holidays, full medical and dental treatment, company matching retirement fund of 50% of salary, and a company car leased every two years-say, a red corvette?



The Engineer sat up straight and shouted, "Wow! Are you kidding?

The interviewer replied, "Yeah, but you started it."
