Qualification:

•   University graduate in Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunication or Computer Science, from a reputed Engineering institutes.

•   Network certification such as CCNA and CCIE

•   Knowledge of OSI model with emphasis on Layers 2 and 3.

•   Knowledge of service provider IP architectures.

•   Knowledge of networking technologies – TCP/IP, BGP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls, proxy etc.

•   Knowledge of network capture and analysis tools, with the ability to analyze protocol and application behaviors.

•   Knowledge of IP address management including process to obtain addresses and provide reporting to AFRINIC.

•   Knowledge of visio with ability to create complex network diagrams

Experience:

•   7-10 years post graduate work Experience.

•   Minimum of 5 years relevant engineering Experience in anIP network engineering environment.

•   Experience integrating network hardware including routers, switches, firewalls, security appliances and terminal servers.

•   Experience with Alcatel-Lucent 7750 and 7710 Routers, Huawei NE40×3 and NE40×8 would be an advantage.
