Responsibilities

• Site supervision and coordination.

• Supervises technical personnel, contractors and construction workers , ensure coordination between all participants in the project execution in the workplace

• Organizing managing and operating parts of big projects and notifies the heads of any site problems occurred during the execution.

• Checking the quality of work delivered by contractors and company construction workers and takes appropriate measures to remedy deficiencies occurred. (With direct supervision of site manager / project manager when necessary).

• Ensure proper use of materials on site, check and keep track of quantities of materials placed in work and liaise with QS for this.

• Identify the extent possible, materials, accessories, tools that do not correspond in terms of quality and proper operation and will obstruct the operation or use.

• Liaise with the site manager/project manager to remedy deficiencies occurred during execution on site.

• Held responsible for compliance with instructions received from the site manager/project manager and ensuring compliance and meet the project quality parameters in the workplace

• Ensure compliance with work safety measures for company workers and subcontractors.

• Drawing up daily specific reports for his workplace and forwards them to the site manager.

• Perform such other duties and tasks have been assigned by the Site manager / Project Manager.

• Liaise with the site manager and Quality Officer on site for carrying out construction activities on site in accordance with the latest updates versions of execution plans and technical documentation.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:

• First Degree in any engineering field from a reputable University

• Critical and prone to quality

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and ability to work in team

• Priority setting and problem solving skills

• At least 2 years related experience in a construction industries with in depth technical knowledge of construction

• Must possess good organizational skills and be able to pay strong attention to detail.

• Have the ability to contribute to and work effectively within a team environment.

• Must possess excellent IT skills- MS Word, A-Cad and MS Excel

• Good written and spoken English. Ability to work flexibly & under pressure and to meet demanding deadlines; including the ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands
