Job Title: Network Specialist (Level 2)

Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Organisation: Mara Ison Technologies (member of Mara Group of Companies)

Experience: 3-5 Years experience

Qualifications:        

•   Minimum Degree in Information Technology; Computer Science or related field from a reputable organization.

•   Cisco certification is desirable

Mandatory Skills :

•   Experience in similar position in a reputable I.T firm organization.

•   IT technical skills ( Network, Server operating systems and application, Active directory; MS exchange 2003, hard ware and software support

•   TCP/IP based network Implementation

•   Knowledge of VOIP based network implementation and management

•   Knowledge of Wireless LAN deployment, management  and troubleshooting

•   Installation and administration of Firewalls PIX/Check  point and Load balancers

•   Knowledge of deployment, management and troubleshooting of Network Management systems

•   Knowledge of Information security Controls and Vulnerability management

•   Security management and threat analysis

•   Risk mitigation and Disaster Recovery Planning

•   CCNP

•   Stress tolerance

•   High communication skills

•   Work with in a team

Desired  skills:

•   ITIL

•   MSCE

•   Network performance evaluation, analysis, capacity planning and ensuring Quality Assurance & Security compliance
