THE ROLE

CCL has been requested by a major international contractor to provide experienced Architectural Engineers for the detailed engineering of FPSO topsides project based in Lagos. Single status, rotation 5 weeks on / 1 week off / 6 working days a week. Travel as required by client. One year (renewable) contract. Rates and T&Cs to be discussed and agreed.

THE PERSON

6 to 10 years of experience in architectural engineering and design in the oil & gas, refineries, petrochemical, chemical and related industries. Experience with industrial codes and the applications of INtools and industrial sizing programs. Experience as support during the development of P&IDs, development of control and shutdown philosophy, generation of systems functional specifications, development of DCS, ICSS and F/G systems. Experience of sizing control valves, relief valves and flow elements and preparation of instrument datasheets. Experience of positions as a lead discipline engineer on a large project and / or several smaller projects at detail engineering phase.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Ideal candidates will hold a degree in architectural engineering, civil engineering or equivalent. Be conversant with international codes, standards and engineering practices in the industry eg; OHSA, HSE etc. Excellent communication skills, including fluent written and spoken English, essential. Must be eligible to reside and work in Nigeria.
