Job Title: Switch Engineer
Department: Network Group
Location: Lagos

Job Description:    
•   Efficient fault resolution, escalation and reporting.
•   Continues routine Maintenance activities.
•   Implement integration of new network elements (Hardware acceptance test, Physical connection).
•   Track, monitor, and resolve Hardware faults using approved switch processes and procedures and the Ericsson Exchange Library.
•   Escalate unresolved faults to Switch Support.
•   Implement change requests/planned work, using switch procedures.
•   Update switch records such as billing backup, weekly dumps, test load, etc.
•   Perform routine maintenance on all network nodes within the region.
•   Fault resolution on BTS network.

Job Conditions: Normal MTNN working conditions.
Reporting To:   Team Lead, Switch Engineer (Region)

Required Skills: 4 years work experience including three (3) years hands-on experience in core network operations and maintenance in GSM environment

Employment Status: Permanent

Qualification:    B.Sc Electrical/Electronics or any telecoms related degree
