Soldiers take over security in Plateau

The General Officer Commanding the 3rd Armoured Division of the Nigerian Army, Major General Saleh Maina has said soldiers have taken over internal security operations in Plateau State. The GOC said the measure follows the directive of the Vice President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan authorising the military to take over the security in Plateau State following the outbreak of hostilities in the state since Sunday this week.a
