Toyota Scales Back Plans for Launch of iQ-Based EV

The Toyota eQ, an electric variant of Toyota's iQ minicar, will be sold in the U.S. and Japan on a "limited basis" starting in December, the automaker said on Monday as it scaled back plans for the EV that was set to take on the Mitsubishi i and Nissan Leaf.
