MAKURDI – NO fewer than 14 new babies have been delivered in the three camps established for the displaced persons and victims of the Makurdi flood disaster.

This came as National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, yesterday donated 700 bags of rice, household items, drugs and beverages valued at over N20 million to victims.

Vanguard gathered from mothers of the new born babies that they were all doing well as proper medical attention was being extended to the nursing mothers and their babies in the camps.

NAFDAC's DG, Dr. Paul Orhii, who made the donation after a tour of the flood sites and camps, commiserated with the victims and urged them to live in peace with one another.

Orhii was accompanied by North Central Zonal Coordinator of NEMA, Mr. Abdulsalam Mohammed and the state SEMA boss, Adikpo Agbatse.
