MAIN THEME: SUSTAINING EDUCATIONAL IDEALS BEYOND THE 21 ST CENYURY

  The Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan (Nigeria Premier University) is launching its 50 years of consistently and meaningfully contributing to human development both in Nigeria, Africa and the World at large. Its human developmental programmes spanning several decades have assume a colossal dimension that has impact confidence in human capital rejuvenation renowned for their resourcefulness globally. Through its continued strides in education and the human developmental capacity programmes, in this epoch-making history, the Faculty of Education, University of Ibadan would simultaneously welcome and receive scholarly articles aschapters’ contribution, from all disciplines into a TEXTBOOK and SPECIAL EDITION OF IBADAN FACULTY for the occasion.
THEMATIC AREA
    Themes and sub-themes have been carefully selected to reflect every segment of academics show-casing the core business ofeducation in its general form.         Though not exhaustive, other sub-themes that should not be unrelated to the MAIN THEME would also be enthusiastically received.
    While welcoming additional inputs from contributors, the sub-themes however serveas useful guide/direction within which contributors could phrase their chosen titles/topics that convey adequate meanings to the content of any submission.
MAIN INFORMATION
    All received chapter submission would be peer-reviewed. The products of all peer-reviewed, accepted and publishable chapter submissions would be published in the Textbook with the title: SUSTAINING EDUCATIONAL IDEALS BEYOND THE 21 ST CENYURY [ Faculty of education, University of Ibadan, Nigeria at 50 ] in an ISBN and the Special Edition of Ibadan Journal of Educational Studies from a reputable publisher. All contributors’ formatting system and Referencing pattern must conform to the recommended styles. For instance, contributors would be expected tro adhere to the APA Referencing style which could be down-loaded.
     All chapter submissions should have abstracts/introduction that summarizes succinctly the entire submitted manuscript. The submitted chapters should employ the ‘ Times New Roman’ (font 12) while accepted contribution after peer-review correction would be submitted both as: (a) hard Copy and (b) CD-Re-writable materials to any of the Editorial members. However, please notethat for distant contributors, their submissions would be received electronically and by currier post (for hard copies). A proto-type of the chapoter organization is provided below:
