Community prays For Release Of Speaker’s Kidnapped Wife

    THE people of Ejigbo, the hometown of the Speaker of Osun state House of Assembly, Najeem Salam, whose wife was kidnapped have gone into prayer session to facilitate the release of the woman.
    When The Guardian visited the private residence of the speaker in Ejigbo Wednesday, sympathisers were seen gathered while prayer was being offered for divine intervention to enable the kidnapper free the woman.
     Muibat, the first wife of the speaker was kidnapped on Tuesday in Ejigbo by some gunmen on her way home after she closed from her shop arround 8.00 pm. Her abductors were yet to get in touch with her husband or any other member of the family.
     Salaam who described the situation as shocking and worrisome declined further comment on the matter.
    Osun state commissioner of police, Mrs, Kalafite Adeyemi said the state Police Command was already investigating the abduction case in the state.
