Aston Martin Explore is a new iPhone app available for download.

Aston Martin is the latest auto company to create a presence on Apple's iPhone. The new Aston Martin Explore application, now available at Apple's App Store, offers news, photos and videos, historic information — and the sound of an Aston Martin's ignition sequence.

The free app includes "the latest Aston Martin news" as well as historical information and images. Perhaps more interesting to the iPhone user is the choice to hear "the evocative sounds of the iconic V12 and V8 engines" and the starting ignition-sequence menu. Bond fans can enjoy using the phone as a virtual accelerator to rev the Aston Martin DBS.
