Adele is proving some fans wrong by showing off her rap skills with an amazing cover of Nicki Minaj’s verse in Kanye West’s ‘Monster’ in the latest installment of the hit ‘Carpool Karaoke’.
While driving around England with ‘The Late Late Show’ host, James Corden, the 27-year-old singer proved she’s a lover for rap, hence her knowledge of Minaj’s rhymes.
Immediate, the ‘Anaconda’ crooner reated to Adele’s cover with much praise on Instagram/Twitter writing:
But that’s not all. Adele also revealed she is a die-hard fan of British pop band, Spice Girls and always thought she was ‘Ginger Spice’ a.k.a Geri Halliwell.
Adele also shared new tidbits about her music during her car ride with Corden… revealing she won’t be naming her next album after her year of birth. “One of the reasons I name my albums after my age is that they’re sort of polaroids of my life at that time,” she explained prompting the late night host to ask, “When do you think you’ll stop?”
She replied, “This is the last album after my age. I believe in trilogies…The next one will just be Adele”.
