Trippie’s melodic style has gained him a huge following over the last year-and-a-half.
Before his fans knew him as a rapper, Trippie grew up with his mother in the Midwest and listened to whatever his she was playing on the radio.
He began rapping when his older brother—who was recording music at the time—passed away in a car accident. Trippie decided to carry out his brother’s dream and pursue a career in music.
After he moved to Columbus, Ohio, he developed his sound further, and later on, headed to Atlanta. He went on to release Awakening My Inner Beast, Beast Mode and Rock the World Trippie.
Things would take off for Trippie after dropping tracks like “Love Scars” and “Romeo & Juliet.” By the time he dropped his mixtape, A Love Letter to You, back in May, he was hip-hop’s next big star.
Fast forward to October, Trippie Redd released the Love Letter to You 2 mixtape and Angels & Demons EP, which was a joint project with his good friend Lil Wop.
With tons of music out and a possible collab with Drake on the way, Trippie Redd is gaining momentum fast.
