Bayern Munich boss, Hansi Flick has rubbished rumors linking David Alaba to Chelsea, saying the defender will not be leaving the club in January.
Chelsea coach, Frank Lampard had reportedly shown real interest in the experienced left-back, with a bid around £60 million (€70m/$78m) rumored to be in the works.
However, Hansi has come out to shut down the reports of any potential move in January.
His words, “Alaba is not for sale in the winter,”
“Alaba is doing very well at centre-back at the moment. He can lead a team, he showed that.
“This is the criteria the leader of the defence has to fulfil.”
On Boateng, “Jerome is a Bayern player,”
“He has trained well during the winter break. I can’t wait to see what the next few weeks will be like. I’m not worrying about if he’ll leave the club or not. I can’t imagine that at the moment.”
