The Sokoto State Ministry of Health has announcedt the State Contributory Health Care Management Agency (SOCHEMA) had collaborated with USAID Integrated Health Program Sokoto and organized a two days workshop in accredited health facilities in the Sokoto State.
While commenting on the initiative, the Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor on State Contributory Health Care Management Agency, Dr. Amamatu Yusuf appreciated the organizers, co partners and stakeholders for organizing the programme. She thereby used the opportunity to urge participants to pay more attention and learn from the facilitators.
The workshops is engendered at equipping the participants with knowledge on how contributory scheme on claims verification work, the use of ICT to be able to follow SOCHEMA’ Guidqelines.
The meeting is also aimed at enhancing participants to build their capacity on the use of ICT platform in the dispensation of health care services, as well as roles and responsibilities in the contributory scheme.
