Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel has come out to react to talks of his club signing Dayot Upamecano and Erling Haaland. He recently revealed that there is still a long way to go before the club can think of strengthening the team again in the transfer market.

According to him, those who know him know he doesn’t like to speak about players who are under contract at other teams, and he is not about to change now.
He added that Chelsea’s transfer business will always be decided behind closed doors while he is in charge.
His words, “I can understand the interest in the question and the interest of every fan and supporter to talk about these subjects,”
“I am always a fan and am interested in what’s going on.”
“But now it is February and there is a long way to go. As you get to know me, you will know I will not talk about other players who are under contract.”
“This is the type of respect I show. Everything else will be decided behind closed doors. I’m sorry.”
