Hollywood actor, Ben Affleck has come out to react to the backlash that trailed his comment about his battle with alcoholism and his marriage with ex-wife and actress Jennifer Garner. He recently had his say during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, and the world has been reacting.
According to him, his comment about needing to quit his marriage to stop drinking was very meaningful, and he didn’t realize how his comments had been perceived until after it aired.
Ben added that it is a shame to see how critics took the conversation he had for two hours and made it seem as if he was saying the exact opposite of what he actually said.
His words, “I had gone on and said how much we respect each other and cared about each other and cared about our kids and put them first.”
“I have to draw a line, and be clear.”
