Manchester City midfielder, Kalvin Phillips has come out to open up on his dad’s prison sentence and how he will do anything to keep him out. He recently revealed this while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, he recently asked his dad to request for anything he has at his disposal, and he immediately asked to be able to travel around the world and watch him play football.
Kalvin added that his father could have asked for a car or a house, but he instead chose to see his son living his dream.
His words, “Obviously I mentioned about looking after him [in the Amazon All or Nothing documentary series],”
“To make sure he is secure, so he doesn’t go straight back into prison like he has in the past. He could’ve asked me for anything: for a car, a house, anything. He said all he wants is to be able to travel around the world and watch me play football. That’s obviously something I can help with.”
