Barcelona manager, Xavi has come out to hail Ilkay Gundogan’s efforts in the team’s win over Cadiz. He recently revealed that the German is the team’s cornerstone, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Gundogan clearly has the Barcelona DNA, and the fact that he rarely loses possession of the ball makes a lot of difference to his Barcelona team.
Xavi added that the club lacked interior play and a good final pass last season, but Gundo will surely provide that henceforth.
His words, “Gundo is a cornerstone for the team. He has the Barça DNA. He never loses possession, makes a difference with the ball, and always takes the right decision. We signed Gündogan to make the difference.”
