Chelsea midfielder, Moises Caicedo must prepare much better for games at a big club, Marcel Desailly has said. This is coming after his nightmare debut vs West Ham on Sunday, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, Caicedo should begin to put his mindset into the system at this new club, because adjusting quickly to the demands at Chelsea will help him in the long run.

Marcel added that the Ecuador international must now be extra committed to fulfill his role at the club.
His words, “You don’t need to talk about it. We better start to put the mindset into the system, you need to adjust your implication. You are in a big club now! And in a big club you need to prepare yourself much better for each game. Now you digest the idea of £100m and you are now back home you need to be committed.”
WOW.
Moisés Isaac Caicedo Corozo (born 2 November 2001) is an Ecuadorian professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for Premier League club Chelsea and the Ecuador national team.
Born in Santo Domingo, the youngest of ten siblings, Caicedo would play football on the scrubland pitches of his hometown, the Mujer Trabajadora neighbourhood, where goals were marked out by piles of stones. As a child he met local football coach Iván Guerra, who would help Caicedo and his family by paying for his football boots, travel and food.
Caicedo was invited to play his first organised football at the Mujer Trabajadora soccer school by Guerra, and he played there between the ages of five and twelve. The team would often play in games across the Santo Domingo Canton, and Caicedo earned a call-up to a regional select XI.
Initially a forward, Caicedo later developed into a midfielder, and joined local side Colorados Jaipadida at the age of thirteen, an affiliate of professional club ESPOLI.
