Abubakar Atiku, the former vice president and presidential candidate for the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), and Peter Obi, the LP presidential candidate, have both been noticeably absent from the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal, where a ruling on their petitions is scheduled to be announced.
Bala Mohammed, governor of Bauchi State, is the only prominent PDP leader now facing legal trouble.
On the other hand, Labour Party national chairman Julius Abure was present.

Atiku’s media director, Mr. Paul Ibe, did not return DAILY POST’s calls, thus we were unable to immediately determine the circumstances of their absence.
The three petitions will soon be heard by a Tribunal presided over by Justice Haruna Simon Tsammani.
Peter Obi and the Labour Party’s petition has been prioritised for judgement by Justice Tsammani.
