The individuals’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its followers, including those of David Ombugadu, the party’s governorship candidate in the previous election, have been cautioned by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to avoid harassing and terrorising individuals in the state due to the recent ruling of the tribunal.
You may recall that on Monday, a three-person panel led by Justice Ezekiel Ajayi issued a Zoom-delivered ruling declaring Emmanuel David Ombudagu of the PDP the victor of the gubernatorial election held on March 18.
Two justices sided with the petitioner, ruling that his case established beyond a reasonable doubt that the PDP had won the election; the third judge disagreed.

InfoStride News has previously reported that PDP supporters were seen on main roadways despite the rain celebrating Ombugadu’s victory.
All legal avenues have been explored, but the APC chairman, Hon. Aliyu Bello, issued a statement warning PDP supporters not to celebrate.
“We use this occasion to caution the PDP against continuing its campaign of intimidation and harassment in the name of jubilation at the split verdict of the tribunal.
Breakdowns in law and order can be avoided with the use of decorum and personal responsibility.
The group previously declared its complete backing for Sule’s plan to appeal the tribunal’s decision to the Court of Appeal.
