Ovation magazine’s publisher, Dele Momodu, had announced his support for the All Progressives Congress (APC), but has since reversed course.
An online feud has broken out between followers of Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s All Progressives Congress (APC) and a former presidential candidate and chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a recent X post, Momodu lashed out at APC supporters, saying they were fixated on an interview in which he claimed Tinubu paid him 500 pounds in London during his exile years.

He said that he had paid back the gift many times over and that he was not destined to be a slave forever.
“I will support a government that appears very reasonable and sympathetic to the citizens of Nigeria,” he wrote on X on Wednesday night.
I was in a position to back the APC back in 2015, but I recognised the warning signs that Buhari was taking us down the path to Calvary far too early. In fewer than six months, APC has gone off the rails.
