Daniel Bwala, a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party, or PDP, has issued a call to action to the governor of Rivers State, Sim Fubara, urging him to utilize the full weight of his executive powers to force Nyesom Wike, the minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, out of town.
According to Bwala, the democracy of the nation does not acknowledge authoritarianism in any form.
The subsequent dispute between Wike and the governor led to the release of this statement.

“Sim Fubara ought to make full use of the weight of all of the executive powers at his disposal in order to force Wike out of town. Our democratic system does not tolerate autocracy in any form. Fubara is the winner of the election to serve as executive Governor of Rivers State and Chief Security Officer of the state. It is strongly recommended that @officialABAT exercise extreme caution with Wike before the latter damages the reputation of his government both domestically and internationally. On Monday, he sent a message on his social networking platform, X, in which he called for Wike to be fired immediately.
Bwala went on to advise President Bola Tinubu to exercise utmost caution with Wike before the latter tarnishes the reputation of the government the president leads both domestically and abroad.
According to InfoStride News, a maneuver allegedly carried out by some members of the state House of Assembly has been responsible for the disarray that has been plaguing the state.
An explosion took place at the assembly site on Sunday night, adding fuel to the allegations that there was a plot to remove the governor from office.
In addition to this, the Governor stated that on Monday morning, he was the target of gunfire fired by state security personnel.
