Dr. Innocent Okwuosa, the 59th President of ICAN, delivered this assertion during the annual dinner and awards ceremony organized by the Ikorodu chapter of ICAN.
Represented by Mr. Mbang Esu, the Coordinator of ICAN, Ikorodu District, Dr. Okwuosa emphasized that ICAN members are under constant scrutiny. Meanwhile, Mrs. Hassana Silas, a female fellow of the Institute, assured that the Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria would persist in efforts to increase female representation. Silas encouraged potential and aspiring female accounting students not to lose hope, emphasizing the relevance of women in the accounting world. She highlighted the achievements of women in the profession and emphasized the ample opportunities for more women to excel in this noble field.
