Sydney Gbara, the Rivers State Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has expressed confidence that the political crises in the state will soon be resolved.
Gbara made this assertion while addressing journalists on Saturday in Port Harcourt, emphasizing that the majority of Rivers people were tired of the ongoing political drama.
Gbara noted that most reasonable citizens of Rivers State desired peace and wanted Governor Siminialaye Fubara to be allowed to govern effectively and demonstrate his capabilities without distractions.

He commended the governor for maintaining composure and focus despite political disagreements.
“The governor, even in the midst of disagreements with his predecessor and some government organs, has remained focused, delivering impactful policies, programs, and projects for the people. His policies are directly improving lives and building capacity,” Gbara stated.
Gbara also praised the recent resignation and declaration of support for Governor Fubara by a councillor representing the ward of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.
He described the councillor’s decision as timely and a reflection of the growing support for Governor Fubara.
