Popular dancer, Korra Obidi has been slammed by some Facebook users after she flew to Hawaii in the United States to celebrate Mother’s Day. This is coming just days after over $55,000 was donated to her for legal fees, and fans have been reacting.
On Mother’s Day, May 12, Korra simply posted a video of her packing a luggage to go on vacation, alongside these words, “Escapism.”
Her words, “One thing I’ve learned from dealing with a narcissist is you have to prioritise your wellness otherwise all that stress they put on you is going to start showing. That’s what they want. They want you to look like what they’re putting you through.
It’s a shame that on Mother’s Day, I’m ashamed to post my children on Mother’s Day because my ex has weaponised my children’s images. So I cannot even share the joy of being a mother on MOther’s Day.
This is why I’m going to escape right now. No, I’m not escaping out of this world, no. I’m just going to a destination.”
While some of her fans supported her decision, other Facebook users slammed her for using the money contributed to travel.
