Italy forward, Federico Chiesa has come out to admit that it was hard to hear Luciano Spalletti’s instructions during their Euro 2024 win over Albania. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, hearing the manager while the match was happening was very difficult for him personally, because the atmosphere was so intimidating that even Italian fans were outnumbered in the stadium.

Chiesa added that playing football in front of an engaged crowd like that was such a magnificent experience.
His words, “He wants to see consistency in terms of play and movement. He wants to dominate proceedings and that’s what he’s been telling us ever since he came to Coverciano last September. That’s what we tried to show on the pitch. He gave us this advice, but hearing him on the other side of the pitch was quite hard. There was a wonderful atmosphere, it was fabulous. Even if the Italians were outnumbered it was a magnificent experience.”
WOW.
