Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has called on those nursing presidential ambitions for 2027 to abandon their plans, asserting that President Bola Tinubu will remain in office beyond the current term.
In a post shared on his official Facebook page, Igbokwe emphasized that there would be no vacancy in Aso Rock after 2027.
He stressed that President Tinubu’s focus would be on addressing Nigeria’s longstanding challenges.

“Those of you scheming and dreaming for 2027 should go and rest.
There is no vacancy in Aso Rock until PBAT clears the huge and monumental Augean Stable that has accumulated for years now. Nigeria is being reworked to work again,” Igbokwe wrote.
His comments come amid growing speculation about a possible alliance between the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, and Labour Party’s Peter Obi, aimed at challenging Tinubu’s presidency in 2027.
