Manchester United manager, Ruben Amorim has come out to share why he continues to leave Marcus Rashford out of his squad. He recently had his say while speaking to the press, and fans have been reacting.
According to him, it would be his decision if Rashford gets to play in the coming games, and he only needs the forward to be more engaged in training and on the pitch.

Amorim added that the entire squad must focus on improving right now while avoiding any other distractions.
His words, “I’m so clear on my message. Everyone at Carrington knows what I’m talking about and what I want from Marcus and for everyone else so it’s not a distraction for us, maybe it is for the media and people but that’s not my concern. I want Rashford to be like any other player, the best that they can be. If you have big talent, big performance, big responsibility, big engagement. Push everybody forward. In this moment some guys have a big responsibility here because they are here for a long time. This is one of the lowest moments of our club we have to face it and be strong in this moment, that’s what I want from every player in the team.
When I feel it’s the right moment I’ll change something. Until then I’ll continue to think what’s the best thing for the team. He wants to play, it’s only my decision. I’m doing things my way. It’s the only way I know, if I don’t do that I’ll lose myself and I can’t do it.
We know we cannot let this become normal. I understand it’s a tough moment and it’s on me. We cannot think about that, we just have to think about improving, to understand the context and not focus on what happened in the past, but see what we can do so it doesn’t happen again.”
WOW.
Manchester United Football Club, commonly referred to as Man United or simply United, is a professional football club based in Old Trafford, Greater Manchester, England. The club competes in the Premier League, the top division in the English football league system.
Nicknamed the Red Devils, they were founded as Newton Heath LYR Football Club in 1878, but changed their name to Manchester United in 1902. After a spell playing in Clayton, Manchester, the club moved to their current stadium, Old Trafford, in 1910.
Alex Ferguson and his assistant Archie Knox arrived from Aberdeen on the day of Atkinson’s dismissal, and guided the club to an 11th-place finish in the league. Despite a second-place finish in 1987–88, the club was back in 11th place the following season. Reportedly on the verge of being dismissed, Ferguson’s job was saved by victory over Crystal Palace in the 1990 FA Cup final.
The following season, Manchester United claimed their first UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup title. That triumph allowed the club to compete in the European Super Cup for the first time, where United beat European Cup holders Red Star Belgrade 1–0 at Old Trafford. The club appeared in two consecutive League Cup finals in 1991 and 1992, beating Nottingham Forest 1–0 in the second to win that competition for the first time as well.
