The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has come out to share how she suffered from life threatening preeclampsia during pregnancy. She recently had her say during an honest talk with Bumble founder, Whitney Wolfe Herd, and fans have been reacting.
According to her, she went through postpartum preeclampsia when she was pregnant with her child, and it is a serious medical condition characterized by elevated blood pressure and possible damage to organs.

Meghan added that the condition is so rare, and the world doesn’t have any idea what goes on behind closed doors.
Her words, “We both had just extremely similar experiences – although we didn’t know each other then, but we both experienced preeclampsia. Postpartum preeclampsia. It’s so rare and so terrifying. And you’re still trying to balance all of these things, and the world doesn’t have any idea what’s going on behind closed doors.”
